When it comes to feeding grain, haylage, silage, TMR, etc., feed bunks are the go-to piece of equipment on many operations. The L series bunk feeder from Farmco is designed to meet the feeding needs of farms of all sizes, from hobby farmers to large operations.
The trough on our bunk feeder is 4’ wide and 16” deep, so you can pile up plenty of nutrition at each feeding. It features sloped sides to keep feed consolidated down to the last scraps, as well as drain holes to avoid excess moisture accumulation. With sizes up to 24’ long, we have feed bunks that will handle as many as 40 head of cattle at a time.
Our bunk feeders all come with the option of slant bars welded around the perimeter to reduce cattle movement and feed waste. Standard Features
We’ve all seen how rough cattle can be on feeders. To withstand that abuse, we make all our feed bunks from 12 gauge metal, reinforced at the critical spots. Each bunk feeder exhibits high-quality welds and a two-part polyurethane paint applied electrostatically for a consistent finish. Every Farmco cattle feeder needs to handle the conditions of real farms.
